3PL Explained
Eliminate the process of selecting a suitable Pargo Point only AFTER payment by activating third-party carrier rates on your Shopify account.
This will allow you to display between 3 and 15 convenient Pargo Points as delivery methods at checkout.
Does my store qualify for 3PL?
At this time, the 3PL update is only compatible for clients who have the Shopify third-party carrier function activated.
Shopify Advanced or Plus: included, no need to configure.
Shopify Basic Annual Account: included, configure in your Shopify Account Settings.
Shopify Basic Monthly Account: additional monthly subscription will apply at an additional $20 per month.
Displaying Pargo Points at Checkout
You can configure your Pargo plugin to display up to 15 convenient Pargo Points at checkout as delivery methods.
It is recommended to configure your Pargo plugin to display between 3 and 5 nearest Pargo Points based on the billing address details added during checkout.
You can also choose how much information to display for the Pargo Point at checkout, including store rating, address and distance; or opt to display the full description.
It is recommended to only display the basic information to prevent clutter at checkout.
Find your Pargo Point display configuration:
Navigate to your Shopify dashboard;
Click on the Pargo Plugin in your Apps list;
Click on the Settings tab, check that you are logged into your myPargo account;
Scroll down to the Pargo Points display section, choose the number to display (Shipping Rates) and whether you will display only basic information or more information (Enriched pickup point info in checkout page) at checkout.
Order of Delivery Methods at Checkout
Encourage customers to choose Pargo by displaying Pargo Points above other delivery methods. Sort the order of your delivery methods in your Shipping & Delivery settings from your Shopify dashboard.
Pricing Pargo Point delivery at Checkout
Recommended:
Pargo Point delivery R65 - R70 maximum.
Home Delivery (and other shipping providers) R80+.
It recommended not to add a further mark up to Pargo Point delivery in order to promote access to ecommerce to all South Africans, and at a price anyone can afford.
Didn’t get a chance to select a preferred Pargo Point?
Request that the Pargo Point Reselect feature be activated on your Pargo account profile. This will trigger an email to your customer allowing them to change their Pargo Point within a set time (e.g. 8 hours) after they have completed checkout. Pup reselect on PB.
Customer touch points
Add Pargo as a preferred shipping method to your delivery and policy pages as well as product information components throughout your online store.

Offering further incentivised free Pargo delivery
Add free Pargo Point delivery to your free basket threshold with a recommended spend of R450. For free delivery above the basket threshold, offer your customers added value when choosing Pargo Points for their delivery with either a free gift or a discount code for their next online purchase.

Easy drop off returns
Add Pargo Returns using your unique URL. Simply add a menu item to your navigation, and link this to your unique Pargo Returns URL.
Finding your unique Pargo Returns URL
Your Pargo Account must be activated for drop off returns in order to access the URL.
Access your Returns URL from the configuration screen of your Shopify Pargo plugin, or simply get in touch with clientsupport@pargo.co.za.
Find your Pargo Returns URL:
Navigate to your Shopify dashboard;
Click on the Pargo Plugin in your Apps list;
Click on the Settings tab, check that you are logged into your myPargo account;
Scroll down to the Returns section, copy your URL from here.
Log into your myPargo account:
*Enable the ‘Use myPargo’ toggle option to push all your orders directly to your myPargo dashboard.
Adding an informational pop up modal
To provide more information to your customers as an additional touch point, add our informational modal to your checkout process with an info [ ? ] indicator.
