Installation and Setup

1. Log in to the Shopify App Store.

2. Search for the Pargo App plugin to install, and then click Install.

3. In your Shopify admin, to authorise the use of the app, click Install app.

After the app is installed, you can view and use it from the Apps page in your Shopify admin.

Enable the Delivery Customisation function

1. In your Shopify admin settings, click on Shipping and Delivery.

2. Scroll down to Delivery Customisations, click on Add a Customisation.

3. To authorise Pargo for delivery customisations, click Add a customisation.

4. Select Pargo Points - South Africa, you will then be redirected back to the Pargo App.

Configure Pargo shipping methods

1. In your Shopify admin settings, click on Shipping and Delivery.

2. Click on the General Shipping Rates.

3. Scroll down to Shipping Origins, click on Add Rate.

4. Type in the Rate Name field: PargoPointPlaceholder 1, and add the rate. Click done. Continue adding Pargo Placeholders (2,3,4,5, etc) with the same rate on each. Consider how many you would like to display at checkout. A minimum of 5 is recommended. 

The last PargoPointPlaceholder added provides an additional checkout option for customers. This option lets them choose a different Pargo Point than those displayed, after payment, allowing them to search for an alternative if the displayed list is unsuitable.

Important: When adding your placeholders, consider that the last one added will be used for this purpose.

Important: The placeholder must be typed in exactly as we have it above (look carefully at letter spacing) for the customisation to work successfully.

5. Once you have added all of your Pargo Point Placeholders , click Done, and then click Save.

6. Test your store checkout to make sure your new Pargo Point shipping methods are displaying correctly.
